To sum up, digital inclusion seems to be the most essential ingredient that is expected to change fundamentally prison & release education and bring up social thriving.
If digital inclusion strategy is not prioritized as a fundamental part of rehabilitation processes, the digital divide will be expanded and it will carry away both the social stigma of the former prisoners, as well as their low employability rate.
Digital inclusion will bring up:
Readiness for employment
Easier access to the welfare system
Social reintegration and connectivity
Lifelong learning opportunities
Familiarization with digital services (e-health, IBAN, etc.)
